Dockets Information

The dockets for the Civil Division of General Sessions Court are posted daily at the Clerk of Court of General Sessions, Civil Division, in the Justice A.A. Birch Building at 408 2nd Avenue North off the James Robertson Parkway. The civil docket schedule is the following:

Civil Dockets:
Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. in Courtrooms 5C and 5D.

Emergency Committal Docket:
Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. at the Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute.
Order of Protection Docket:
Monday though Friday at 8:00 a.m. in Courtrooms 3A, 3B, 3C 4B and 4C. PLEASE CHECK DOCKET DISPLAY SYSTEM LOCATED IN THE MAIN LOBBY OF THE Justice A.A. Birch Building.
The Environmental and Metro Docket:
Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and 2:30 pm. in Courtroom 5D in the Justice A.A. Birch Building.

Bond Dockets:
Monday through Friday on the 3rd and 4th Floor Courtrooms of the Justice A.A. Birch Building. PLEASE CHECK DOCKET DISPLAY SYSTEM LOCATED IN THE MAIN LOBBY OF THE Justice A.A. Birch Building.
Misdemeanor Jail Docket:
Monday through Friday at 9:35 am in Courtroom 3C and 4B in the Justice A.A. Birch Building.
Felony Jail Docket: Monday through Friday at 9:45 am in Courtroom 3A and 3B in the Justice A.A. Birch Building.
Saturday Jail Review Docket: Each Saturday the Judges conduct this docket to assist in alleviating the jail overcrowding.
Misdemeanor Citation Docket: Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 1A in the Justice A.A. Birch Building.
State Traffic Docket: Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 1B in the Justice A.A. Birch Building.
Mental Health Court: Judge Dan Eisenstein presides Monday through Friday in Courtroom 4D in the Justice A.A. Birch Building. Please check with Mental Health Court Office for docket availability.
Treatment Court: Judge Casey Moreland presides Wednesdays in Courtroom 4D in the Justice A.A. Birch Building.

The Metro Traffic related dockets are conducted Monday through Friday and begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Justice A.A. Birch Building Courtroom 1B.
