Who is Judge Hayes?
Judge Robin Kimbrough Hayes is the General Sessions Court Judge, Division V. She is the newest member of the Domestic Violence Judicial Team. She hears regular sessions cases along with matters involving intimate partner violence. She is a graduate of Emory Law School and Vanderbilt Divinity School. She is bi-vocational having spent a great deal of her legal career serving the public as a lawyer and chaplain. Judge Hayes is married to Arnold Hayes and together they have five children. She is an active member in various organizations doing justice work. This year she has performed over 200 weddings, and enjoys bringing couples and families together. This year she held a wedding event for Nashville Pride and performed Flash Mob Weddings at the Parthenon. As she says to all the wedding couples, “may the roads that led you to one another, continue to lead you to one another on your journey of marriage.”
